A seat 40 to 45cm off the ground is easy to get out of and comfortable at a camp table. Low chairs around 25 to 30cm are relaxing by a fire but hard on knees and hips. If anyone in the group has mobility issues, go high.

Are camping hammocks comfortable to sleep in?

Yes, if you lie diagonally rather than along the centre line, which flattens out the sag. Below roughly 20C you need an underquilt or pad, because insulation compressed under your back stops working. Check tree spacing and strap width rules before you commit.

How do I stop a camp table wobbling?

Look for independently adjustable legs and a roll-top aluminium slat surface with a bracing bar. Adjustable feet handle a slope far better than a rigid folding frame, and a lower table height reduces the leverage that makes a loaded table rock.
