These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of ventureora.com and any content, tools or features we make available on it (together, the “Site”). Ventureora is an independent camping gear review and comparison publisher. By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please stop using the Site.
1. Who we are and how to reach us
The Site is published by Ventureora. You can reach us by email at ventureora@gmail.com or through our contact page, and we aim to reply to every message within five working days.
2. Eligibility
The Site is intended for a general adult audience. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you are under 16, please do not submit personal information to us. See our Privacy Policy for more.
3. Permission to use the Site
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable permission to access the Site and view its content for your own non-commercial use. That permission does not include any right to:
- republish, redistribute, syndicate or sell our content, in whole or in part;
- scrape, crawl or otherwise extract our comparison data, product database or review content by automated means, or use it to train a machine-learning model, without our prior written permission;
- frame, mirror or present the Site as your own, or remove any attribution or copyright notice;
- interfere with the Site, its security, or any server or network connected to it;
- use the Site for anything unlawful, deceptive or infringing.
We reserve the right to withdraw permission and block access if these Terms are breached.
4. Intellectual property
All text, review copy, comparison tables, scoring methodology, graphics, logos, page design and software on the Site are owned by Ventureora or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The Ventureora name and logo are our trade marks.
Product names, brand names and manufacturer trade marks referred to on the Site belong to their respective owners. We use them for identification and honest comparative review only. Their use does not imply any endorsement of Ventureora by those owners, or any affiliation with them beyond any affiliate relationship we disclose.
You may quote a short extract of our content for the purposes of criticism, review or news reporting, provided you credit Ventureora and link to the original page.
5. Anything you submit to us
If you submit a comment, question, correction, photograph or other material to the Site, you confirm that it is your own, that it is accurate as far as you know, and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights or break any law. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and publish that material on the Site and in related promotion.
We may edit, decline or remove any submission, at our discretion and without notice, including anything abusive, misleading, promotional or unlawful.
6. Affiliate links and advertising
Ventureora is funded by affiliate commissions and by advertising. Some links on the Site are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
Advertising and commission never determine what we recommend or how products are ranked. Our full position is set out in the Affiliate Disclosure and the Editorial and Advertising Policy.
7. No sale of goods, and no professional advice
We do not sell any of the products we write about. Every purchase is a contract between you and the retailer, on that retailer’s own terms. Questions about price, stock, delivery, warranty, returns or refunds must go to the retailer, not to us.
Our content is general information for a general audience. It is not safety, medical, legal or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for the manufacturer’s instructions and safety warnings for any product you own. 8. Accuracy, prices and availability
We work hard to keep specifications, prices and availability accurate, and we date our guides so you can see how current they are. Even so, product ranges change constantly, manufacturers revise specifications without notice, and retailer prices move by the hour. Any price or specification shown on the Site is indicative only, and the retailer’s own listing at the time of purchase is the authoritative source.
9. Links to other websites
The Site links to third-party websites, including retailers and manufacturers. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for their content, security or privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement of everything on the destination site.
10. Availability of the Site
We aim to keep the Site available and working, but we do not promise uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend, restrict or withdraw any part of the Site, including any comparison tool or database, at any time and without notice.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site and everything on it are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, conditions and representations, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ventureora and anyone working with us will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or connected with your use of the Site or your reliance on anything published on it.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Ventureora harmless from any claim, loss, liability or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or any material you submit to us.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page is the one that applies, and the date at the top shows when it last changed. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Ventureora is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in this section removes any protection you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live.
16. General
If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. Our failure to enforce any part of these Terms is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Disclaimer, Affiliate Disclosure and Editorial and Advertising Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about your use of the Site.
